Banana Bread
Ingredients

4 very ripe bananas

1/3 cup melted butter

1 tsp baking soda

pinch of salt

3/4 cup sugar

1 large egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp cinnamon

crushed pecans
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F and butter the baking pan.

In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Mix in the flour and any additions.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle crushed pecans atop the the batter. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack. Remove the banana bread from the pan and serve.
